Background
The Lighthouse Film and Television was established by Hilary Salmon, Radford Neville and Nick Betts in early 2020. With an unparalleled combination of skills and experience developed over many years working in the industry, the goal is to develop and produce British drama of the highest quality for the world to enjoy.
The Lighthouse team have strong and well proven relationships with on and off screen talent including directors, actors and producers but most importantly with writers. In many cases we have collaborated with writers on multiple shows over many years, building trust and loyalty on both sides. Several of the resulting shows have won numerous awards; in particular Criminal Justice, House of Saddam and Three Girls.
Sky Studios has a minority stake in the company. This provides The Lighthouse with the capital required to invest in the best people and writing talent in the business, as well as a commissioning partner with a global broadcast and distribution presence.
We are currently in production with the movie SCOOP for Netflix and a returning television series. We are also developing a number of other projects for several major broadcasters and SVOD platforms in the UK and globally.
